What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
To be lost within my own mind

faults springing from emotion rather than thought

i have no real heroines, i have the characters of my dreams and the women of my books

none who i can embrace, why have i never found a written woman who silences me, to whom i williningly, unquestioningly, instinctually pay homage. have i ever come across such a man?

picasso or matisse or monet. zim zum is my favorite painting, but only because it made true islands in the stream, which made true my grief, which made true my father

my father, becasue my heart is still broken; otherwise, hemingway before the darkness, although perhaps the darkness was always there

silence together; a perception of the depth of their love as deep as my inability to see why

to lose those i love, my mother, my father, michele

the person who i am desperate to believe i can be, or perhaps that i already am

those which flash before my eyes before i see them, whose which i feel rather than see, and those which i cannot even bear to feel

those which i leave behind, untouched; a perception of the eternally blossoming flower, similar to an eternal love--similarly destructive, similarly false, similarly heartbreaking

perhaps grier, perhaps jimmy; to have a hero is to commit to pain and to failure
