What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To have the ability, yet to be never given the chance... that the ability, whatever it may be, is taken with you to your grave where no light can ever reach it.
Where would you like to live?: Anywhere with good company; it's not the geographical location that matters, the people who I spend my time with make the difference.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: First and foremost, to be in good health, to have family and friends (or a friend) who I love and loves me in return, to be content and fulfilled with my work.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: To be lazy, to get jealous, basically some of the 7 sins.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: The ones who are selfless (or nearly selfless), sensitive to others needs, and sagacious.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Nelly Dean/Ellen Dean, just because she is a heroine in disguise.
Your favorite painter?: Vermeer
The quality you most admire in a man?: Prudence
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Prudence
Your favorite virtue?: Selflessness
Your most marked characteristic?: To be confused when I can just let things be.
What is your principle defect?: Not taking care of myself.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: Misfortunes cannot be rated or ranked. One cannot be greater than another; misfortunes are all in some way unfortunate in themselves.
What would you like to be?: I guess I would say me, but my ideal version of me.
What is your favorite color?: Blue. But how can you be sure if the blue that I see is ever the same as the blue that you see?
What is your favorite flower?: Tulips-- because they sound romantic. "Two lips"
What is your favorite bird?: Thunderbird because it was my high school emblem/mascot.
Who are your favorite prose writers?: Jane Austen, more to come in the future.
Who are your favorite poets?: Sylvia Plath
Who are your heroes in real life?: My dad, my mom, my happy grandma, and my sister.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: Those who did great deeds without expecting fame or glory or a well-known name in return.
What are your favorite names?: Aerin and Danica
What is it you most dislike?: People who betray the trust that have been placed into them like water placed in a leaky glass.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Those who killed, those who raped, those who robbed.
What event in military history do you most admire?: The US's decision NOT to use an atomic bomb in the Korean War.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: The ability to make logical sense of my thoughts.
How would you like to die?: Peacefully, gently, and happily. In a way that I may not feel pain.
What is your present state of mind?: Frustration that my glasses weigh to heavily on the bridge of my nose and the top ends of my ears, yet all the while happy to be home.
What is your motto?: Make it look effortless, yet be the one to put tremendous effort behind it.
