What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To be a man on a bus, whose labor is lost and whose mind is soft and lonely.
Where would you like to live?: Wherever there are mountains and clear lakes.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Happiness is overrated. Allows us to have excuses for stagnation. I suppose, though, to be loved particularly and to have books would be pretty nice.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: My tendency to manipulate and then misrepresent.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Colonel Aureliano Buendia
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Nietzsche. Spartacus. Marx.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Simone de Beauvoir
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Sigourney Weaver - Aliens.
Your favorite painter?: John Singer-Sargent
Your favorite musician?: Eric Satie. Thank god for Vexations
The quality you most admire in a man?: Humanity

Your favorite occupation?: Reading; critiquing; making music
Who would you have liked to be?: Thales, as I enjoy looking at the sky and also the sensation of falling.
Your most marked characteristic?: A sort of benign goofiness, but only as juxtaposed against a razorblade mind.
What do you most value in your friends?: Loyalty and good advice.
What is your principle defect?: Complete and total corruption by smug laziness and elitist inaction.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To never have been born or to die only of old age.
What would you like to be?: Somehow, a cowboy philosopher. I guess perhaps that's more than the universe is capable of allowing.
What is your favorite color?: It depends on what she is wearing.
What is your favorite flower?: Anything that makes a smell.
What is your favorite bird?: The one on my hand.
Who are your favorite prose writers?: Why is there not a nonfiction section here? Plato, Nietzsche, Zizek.
Who are your favorite poets?: Stephen Crane and Stephen Crane
Who are your heroes in real life?: Those whom I can imitate and still feel honset.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: de Beauvoir.
What are your favorite names?: Frances and Sadie
What is it you most dislike?: Ignorance of moral deficiencies.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Freud, but i despise him with a kind of usefullness.
What event in military history do you most admire?: The Light Brigade. Because I know what it is. And I wish to use the name.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: The ability to be passionate and independant simultaneously.
How would you like to die?: Loudly.
What is your present state of mind?: Enamored and sober. Far too sober.
What is your motto?: If you make them angry, you have made some sense.
