What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To be trapped, alone, forever
Where would you like to live?: Wherever I will be able to flourish
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To be able to express my thoughts to others perfectly
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: To letting my ideas fall by the wayside
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Those who can live through the most horrifying experiences unscathed, but at the same time those who are affected by what they experience
Who are your favorite characters in history?: I suppose the most intelligent ones
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Women who can keep it all together
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: The ones in my head that I have yet to write about

The quality you most admire in a man?: A sense of justice, a firm idea of right and wrong
The quality you most admire in a woman?: An intellectual stimuation, an ability to insult and reveal my imperfections so that I may better them
Your favorite virtue?: The Faulknerian Old Verities -- Love, honor, pity, pride, compassion, and sacrifice
Your favorite occupation?: Writing -- music and literature
Who would you have liked to be?: Myself, I suppose. I'm tempted to put Christ, due to his perfect nature, but at the same time the thought of bearing his burden disturbs me
Your most marked characteristic?: A passion without cessation--sometimes leading to anger
What do you most value in your friends?: A sense of belonging
What is your principle defect?: My passion--though it remains my principle virtue as well
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To be alone, eternally suffering
What would you like to be?: Fulfilled, having accomplished all I was set out to do
What is your favorite color?: Colors fit different objects and events perfectly--to pick one would be to pick an object rather than a color
What is your favorite flower?: The one whose scent is not overpowering of the flower itself

Who are your favorite poets?: e.e. Cummings, William Wordsworth, John Keats
Who are your heroes in real life?: Patrick Moraz and my father

What are your favorite names?: My own, as well as its feminine counterpart
What is it you most dislike?: Suffering of any sort--not because it is suffering, but because I realize how necessary it is
What historical figures do you most despise?: One should not despise historical figures, only their actions. No one knows another's motivations, least of all those of people in the past
What event in military history do you most admire?: The ending of a war--the triumph of right over wrong
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: The ability to move on
How would you like to die?: Unafraid
What is your present state of mind?: Melancholic
What is your motto?: A few words are not enough to summarize how a man should live his life
