- a vast attic-like black and gold palace made to look like a romani mansion on very high stilts above a prairie meadow, with wildflowers for a basement and not a mouse in sight

- constant exposure to art, music, film, literature with quiet but slightly absurd companions in a world full of non-violent people where I can be alone for days or invisible in a crowd in an eccentric wardrobe of silks, lace and velvet

- I am very distracted, and yes, strangely uncomfortable with having to manufacture these answers in some dull reflection of myself; pained and irritable.

- "Pretend this is rea."l/"pretend this isn't real." Maybe that makes me pretentious, but I like to pretend to pretend--to trick my mind, subvert reality and recognize alternate realities.
