- Being stuck in a situation where you have no freedom to change anything. Also, boredom through repetition in life.

- Any country experiencing rapid cultural and social change. As of 2009, these countries would include India, China or Brazil.

- Being able to live in complete intellectual and moral honesty with the people around me. Not having to have to hide anything from the world.

- Pretension, narcissism, egocentrism, reductionism and intellectual dishonesty

- Anton Chigurh, Kain the Vampire, Judge Holden, Captain Ahab, Iago and Hans Landa. Male characters in fiction who linger in my thoughts tend to be the vllains. Men who redefine the meaning of evil.

- Bertrand Russell, Peter Singer, John Stuart Mill, Noam Chomsky, Jeremy Bentham, Epicurus and David Hume. Anyone who is beyond staying content with conventional norms of thinking and is a fighter for social progress.
